Where Lurk may suit you better

  • It has a web version at getlurk.app you can use in a browser, without installing an app.
  • Its own product includes Stories viewing. Lurke's equivalent tool is a separate free page on the Lurke website, not something inside the Lurke app.
  • Its FAQ advertises a discounted $1 first week for new subscribers, if you only want a short, low-cost look before deciding.

Where Lurke may suit you better

  • Its Pro prices are published on lurke.app before you install: $7.99 a week, $14.99 a month or $39.99 a year (US App Store, checked October 26, 2026).
  • For your own account, Lurke can use Instagram's own official data-export file, so you see your real follow dates instead of only the difference between two scans.
  • A dedicated public page (lurke.app/is-lurke-safe) stating the company name, what data is collected, and how to delete your account.

How to tell which app you have

  1. Check the developer name on the store listing or your receipt. Lurke's listing shows NaviStack LLC. Lurk's App Store listing shows Collins Chukwuma as the seller, and its own website names Odin Studio Inc. as the operator.
  2. Check the exact app name and icon. “Lurke: Recent Follow Tracker” and “Lurk - Recent Follow Tracker” are one letter apart in the name, with different icons and different app pages.
  3. Check the website linked from the app's settings or support screen. Lurke links to lurke.app; Lurk links to getlurk.app.
  4. Check your Apple or Google receipt directly. A receipt lists the seller name, not just the app's display name, which is usually the fastest way to confirm who actually charged you.

lurked.app is a separate, similarly named domain. It is not affiliated with Lurke or NaviStack LLC.

How we checked this

We compared Lurke and Lurk using each company's own public sources: their websites, their App Store and Google Play listings, and getlurk.app's FAQ, all checked November 5, 2026. We did not test either app ourselves, and nothing here ranks or recommends one over the other. For a wider, disclosed look at other recent-follow apps, see our comparison of seven tracker apps. If a fact above is wrong or has changed, contact Lurke and we'll review it.

Is Lurke the same as Lurk?

No. Lurke (lurke.app) and Lurk (getlurk.app) are different apps published by different companies. Lurke is made by NaviStack LLC; Lurk is made by Collins Chukwuma, and Lurk's own website names Odin Studio Inc. as its operator. Reviews, prices, trial offers and features listed for Lurk describe that app, not Lurke.

Who makes Lurke?

Lurke is published and operated by NaviStack LLC. For privacy or legal questions, email info@navistack.app; for app support, email support@lurke.app. Lurke is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta, and it is not connected to Lurk (getlurk.app) or to lurked.app.

Does Lurke have a $1 trial?

Lurke doesn't sell a $1 first week. On the US App Store (checked October 26, 2026), Lurke is a free download and Lurke Pro costs $7.99 a week, $14.99 a month or $39.99 a year. Any other offer is shown on the App Store or Google Play payment screen before you pay. The $1-first-week offer some people have seen is Lurk's (getlurk.app), per Lurk's own FAQ, not Lurke's.

Does Lurke let you view stories anonymously?

No, not with the word “anonymous” — Lurke doesn't use that claim. The Lurke app itself has no story-viewing feature. lurke.app's website has a separate, free Story viewer & downloader tool for active public Instagram stories; it doesn't ask for a password, but using any public web tool isn't the same as a guarantee of anonymity.

I was charged by Lurk — can Lurke help?

No. Lurke and Lurk are different companies, and Lurke has no access to Lurk's billing or your Lurk subscription. Contact Lurk directly at support@getlurk.app, or find the charge yourself: on iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, open the Google Play app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. The company name next to the charge shows which app actually billed you.

This comparison is published by Lurke. Facts about other apps are checked against their own public listings, not tested by Lurke, and can change after publication.
