LURKE

Is Lurke safe?

Short answer: Lurke never asks for your Instagram password and works only with public Instagram profiles. It is published by NaviStack LLC, it collects some account and usage data (listed below), and you can delete your Lurke account in the app at any time.

Lurke never asks for your Instagram password

You enter a public Instagram username; you do not sign in to Instagram through Lurke. Lurke does not store Instagram passwords. It analyzes public profile data through third-party data providers, so it cannot see anything a private account hides.

Who makes Lurke

Lurke is published and operated by NaviStack LLC. For privacy or legal questions, email info@navistack.app. For app support, email support@lurke.app. Lurke is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.

Lurke is not Lurk. Lurk (getlurk.app) is a separate app from a different company. The official Lurke website is lurke.app, and the official apps are the App Store listing and the Google Play listing. Look-alike sites and apps are not run by NaviStack LLC. For example, lurked.app is not ours and is not connected to Lurke or NaviStack LLC.

What data Lurke collects

Lurke does collect some data. Its privacy policy lists:

  • Account credentials and profile information
  • Email address and contact information
  • The Instagram usernames you choose to track
  • Device information and app usage data
  • Communication preferences

Lurke uses this to run the tracking service, send notifications about your account, answer support requests, improve the app, meet legal obligations, and prevent fraud. Lurke says it does not sell your personal information. On this website, analytics load only if you choose to accept them; see the privacy policy for details.

How to delete your data

In the Lurke app, open Profile settings and choose Delete account. This permanently deletes your Lurke account and its data, including tracked accounts and history. You can also email support@lurke.app to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.

Deleting your account or the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it as shown below.

Payments and cancelling

Lurke is free to download. Lurke Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Plans, prices, taxes and any introductory offer are shown at checkout before you confirm, and they can differ by platform and country.

On the US App Store (checked October 26, 2026), Lurke Pro costs $7.99 a week, $14.99 a month or $39.99 a year. Other offers can appear in the app. Prices in other countries and on Google Play may be different; the price shown at checkout is the one you pay.

  • App Store: cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings (Apple's instructions). Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before a trial ends.
  • Google Play: cancel in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions (Google's instructions).
  • Bought on this website: follow the instructions in your purchase confirmation, or email support@lurke.app.

Cancel before the next renewal to stop the next charge. Full details are in the terms of service.

What Lurke can and cannot do

Lurke works with public Instagram profiles only. A completed full scan creates the baseline; later completed scans show what changed, such as new followers, unfollowers and accounts added to the profile's Following list. Scans are not real-time, and results depend on the public data available when each scan runs.

Lurke cannot see private accounts, show the exact time of a follow, or recover follows from before tracking began. Be wary of any tracker that promises those things.

Staying safe with any follower tracker

  • Never give a tracker your Instagram password, two-factor codes or recovery details.
  • Download apps only from the official App Store or Google Play listing.
  • Check who publishes the app and read its privacy policy.
  • Check the subscription price and renewal terms before a free trial starts.
  • Watch for look-alike names, such as Lurke and Lurk.
